February 28, 2012 – Yesterday we listed some of the dermatologist’s and cosmetic surgeon’s fees for certain skin care procedures. Today we’ll list a few more of the popular techniques. As we said before, there could be other fees attached to these procedures, so be aware of that and ask questions before you have anything done.
The national average cost of synthetic wrinkle treatment fillers like Radiesse is about $712. The injections usually take only 30 minutes to an hour and can last up to two years.
Natural wrinkle treatment fillers like collagen-based injections run about $673. These fillers usually only take an hour or less to inject and last anywhere from three to six
months.
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Juvederm injections cost about $588 and can last from four months up to a year.
The most popular wrinkle treatment injection is Botox and the average national cost is about $398. Treatment time is only about 30 minutes and the results can last four to six months.
A chemical peel on average will cost around $679. It really depends on whether you have a light, medium or deep chemical peel. The procedure can take from 30 minutes to three hours,
depending on how large the treatment area is and how deep the peel is. The results can last permenantly, although new wrinkles will probably form.
Prices for these cosmetic skin treatment procedures will vary by location, so first find a qualified dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon experienced in the particular procedure you want and then talk price.
